An evil legion of Piglins has swarmed the area, and it’s your job to build up a village and protect it from the hordes of enemies that flood the map. Of course, there’s also a PvP element here if you want to get some friends and endure a 4v4 match. Players will split into two teams to gather resources and construct a base with towers, traps, and other defenses to keep the enemy out. Meanwhile, you’ll have to scout the area to find the opposing base and attempt to take it down.

Meet Your Maker takes place in a post-apocalyptic world where genetic material is the most precious resource left. This game is built up into two main components. The first is setting up an outpost which is all about building a structure. You’ll make this complicated building full of traps and enemies to spawn in and stop opposing players from breaching inside and obtaining your genetic material. Meanwhile, the other component of this game is an FPS experience. During this gameplay sequence, you’ll be venturing into another player’s outpost and trying to bypass the enemies and traps to obtain their genetic material.

Included in the mix is the first time WarGames is being introduced to the series. Additionally, players can take the role of their favorite WWE superstar on the roster today, along with past legends who have since retired. Finally, of course, players will also get to create their own unique wrestler to attempt to rise up the ranks.

Are you looking for a new survival game? Sons of the Forest is the sequel to the beloved survival horror title, The Forest. As a result, you’re actively trying to survive the elements and these hostile tribes. Players will first land on the island and build a structure to keep them safe. This means chopping down trees, creating a platform, walls, and even some fencing. However, you’ll also need to ensure you’re well equipped with weapons, as you’ll soon find these cannibal hostiles bursting into the scene, wrecking your structures, and attempting to attack your group.

However, what makes this game a bit different from the likes of Monster Hunter is that the developers put more emphasis on crafting traps. You’ll build up various traps to help bring a monster down. Of course, you don’t have to partake in these hunts entirely alone. There is cooperative multiplayer support to allow players the ability to connect and aid each other during their quests.

Since Party Animals is infected with fuzzy cute puppies, has more than 100 highly unique combat mechanics and rewards teamwork, the game will simply outshine every other game in the genre.

As the titular Killer Klowns, players will step into the shoes of the murderous entertainers from outer space. They’ll need to hunt down and kill off the rebellious residents of Crescent Cove, who players can become as they hide and fight off the creepy predators from another world. Equipped with zany weapons from a clown’s toolbox, players are sure to have plenty of fun stalking and catching their opponents, who are bound to have an equally great time escaping the onslaught and perhaps even turning the tables on their attackers.

The Texas Chain Saw Massacre film (the original one at least) is one of the most iconic horror films of all time, retelling the shockingly true story of the Slaughter family and what they did to people. But now, you can experience the story (kind of) from your own eyes via the game adaptation.

As you might expect, The Texas Chain Saw Massacre title is a 4v1 title in the style of Dead By Daylight and Friday The 13th. One player will be one of the Slaughter family and seek out those who are your “guests” and make sure they stay…permanently.

As for the other players, it’s your job to run like the wind and sneak away so that you can escape…if you make it that far…

#34 Skull & Bones

Skull & Bones is an upcoming Ubisoft video game where players will set out on the sea searching for loot and goods to steal. The gameplay mechanics look similar to Ubisoft’s past video game release, Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, where players will call out orders to their crew during combat while sailing their ship. This will also be a multiplayer-focused experience as players can team up and fight against one another. Likewise, there is always competition to become the most notorious pirate within the sea. Players have been waiting for this game. It’s been several years since its initial unveiling and now Ubisoft has pinned its release within early 2023.

#33 Everywhere

Newly-revealed Everywhere looks set to introduce players to a new kind of open-world adventure. The game is still in development at this point and seems to have a strong focus on players being able to explore interconnected worlds. Multiplayer looks like it’ll form a solid part of this game, which has been described by its developers as a blending together of creativity, discovery, gameplay and adventure. However, as yet, there’s not a huge amount of information on this mysterious-looking game. From what we’ve seen so far, Everywhere seems to draw on a range of visual influences while making use of Fortnite-style characters and graphics. It’s all very mysterious but should be one to keep an eye on next year if open-world multiplayer sandboxes are your thing.

#32 Moving Out 2

This time, however, gameplay can be enjoyed in online co-op, with full cross-play, as well as in local co-op mode. In addition, gamers will be able to travel to new areas in Moving Out 2, working with up to three friends to explore new worlds and take on even more physics-based moving challenges. As a follow-up to the hit original, this is bound to generate plenty of laughs, as well as the odd bit of frustration at times! Either way, this sequel is sure to be a great multiplayer title for 2023.

#25 Dead Island 2

This long-awaited sequel to the original Dead Island looks set to bring plenty of gruesome horror action for players. Gamers who long to fight off the zombie apocalypse against the sun-soaked backdrops of Los Angeles and San Francisco will love Dead Island 2. It promises to make use of an especially brutal melee combat system, meaning that co-op playthroughs should provide plenty of high-intensity zombie fighting. The co-op action works as a drop-in, drop-out system for up to three players at a time. It’s thought that players will be able to enjoy the game’s main campaign in this team-based co-op mode, but we’ll have to wait and see for sure when it’s released next February.

In 2023, Mech21 Games is releasing a free-to-play online PVP ‘Tug O’ War’ combination strategy game full of customizations and strategic possibilities. Soulless Legions is overflowing with distinctive features, including deck-building, Tug of War style gameplay, duel gamemode for battling friends, 1v1 PVP and ranked, casual multiplayer gamemodes.

Announced early in 2021, Victoria 3 is one of the most long-awaited multiplayer games that will be published in 2023 by Paradox Interactive. Although the exact date of release is still speculated among the fans, the devs regularly update on the state of the game. Victoria 3 will be an inviting grand strategy game that gives you an opportunity to design an ideal society during the 19th century. Besides its blatantly obvious breathtaking visual design, the game offers the ultimate society simulator, well-developed economic system and so much more that is yet to be revealed.

The most significant gamemode will be Dino Survival which drives two teams of five players to compete in a variety of PvE and PvP missions. However, the missions will be skill-dependent, meaning that each match you enter will be royally unique.

#20 Destiny 2 Lightfall

Destiny 2 Lightfall brings a new expansion to the smash hit sci-fi shooter. The expansion will also introduce a ton of new features into the multiplayer action, including a brand new map on the planet Neptune. The super high-tech neon metropolis of Neomuna will be ripe for exploration, as players will need to team up with their fellow Guardians to protect the world from the latest fearsome enemies. With new raids, dungeons and challenges to overcome, Lightfall will be a great experience for co-op lovers when it launches in February next year.

As you try to become a renowned Realmwalker who can effortlessly navigate the web of transdimensional portals, you need to venture through a series of different portals that test your skills, push you to your limits and help you grow.

The studio which published Just Cause and Mad Max, Avalanche Studios, is bringing in 2023, the biggest co-op heist game. Set in the 1970s Bayan, a smuggler’s paradise, Contraband will be a vehicle-oriented game that seems to involve disabling enemy vehicles rather than massive shootings. Although we didn’t learn much about the future plans for the game, the game director of Avalanche Studios, Omar Shakir, shared their primary concerns: “We’re taking everything that we’ve learned from 18 years of being at the forefront of creating beautiful, vast open game worlds filled with stunning vistas and incredible emergent gameplay moments.”

However, it’s not that simple since the world crawls with mutated animals and humans trying to destroy your base.

Rotwood is a hack-and-slash dungeon crawler that invites in a corrupted world to exterminate volatile beasts gather the remnants of the decaying world and construct your own sanctuary deep in the decaying world. Besides, Rotwood encourages you to shape your own destiny by completing continuously increasing challenges and forging new weapons that will help you defend your sanctuary. Unfortunately, since the game is still in development, further details about the game remain unknown.

Similar to other MOBAs, Overprime’s main objective will be to destroy the enemy base by all means. What separates Overprime from the bunch are their dedicated cinematics for each respective hero and synesthetic actions witnessed from a third-person point of view.

XDefiant is a free-to-play, fast-paced arena shooter under the development of Ubisoft that will be released in 2023. Telling the story of factions called “Defiant,” Wolves (Ghost Recon), Echelon (Splinter Cell), and the Outcasts and Cleaners (The Division), XDefiant is often described as “fast-paced firefights meets punk-rock moshpit.” Although the game has been in development for a while now, we don’t know many details about the gameplay except it combines intense gunplay with personalized loadouts.

As they try to uncover the truth behind these bloodthirsty creatures, the players can experience a series of different features such as single and multiplayer options, unique heroes and the open world of Redfall overflowing with mystery and riches.

Although eradicating every trace of the Justice League may be child’s play for the Suicide Squad, they must also remain mindful of an invading alien force that will stop at nothing just to destroy the planet. Warner Bros. Games entrusted each villain with a unique moveset, various easily customizable weapons and skills that demand mastering. Besides, the players will be able to choose between enjoying the game in a single-player mode or teaming up with friends in multiplayer co-op.

The game will also feature seasonal events primarily focused on PvE. Other than that, Overwatch 2 will be extremely similar to the original Overwatch.
